Maps of UNAM

By far the best way to get into the UNAM campus is by subway. The UNAM subway station is the southermost station in the "Indios Verdes - Universidad" line, also known as line 3, or simply the "green" line. Once at UNAM subway station, it is a 10 minutes walk to the Institute of Nuclear Sciences (Instituto de Ciencias Nucleares - ICN), past the Physics, Astronomy, Mathematics and Material Sciences Institutes. From there it is another 5 minutes walking to the supercomputing center (Direccion General de Servicios de Computo Academico - DGSCA), past the School of Sciences (Facultad de Ciencias).

Depending on which hotel you are staying in, you may or may not be close to a Subway station. The other option is simply to take a street taxi. However, even if most taxi drivers will know how to get to UNAM, they will almost certainly not know how to get to the Institute of Nuclear Sciences. You might need to show the driver the map (see below), and direct him to the Institute.

Below are some maps of the UNAM campus, and the areas around the subway station and the Intitute of Nuclear Sciences (ICN). If you have never been in the UNAM campus before, don't miss taking a look at the Rectoria and the Central Library buildings when you have some time.
